2023 P Lincoln Shield Penny, MINT ERROR • Extra V on Shoulder After V.D.B. • Graded ANACS MS65 Red

Discovered in 2023, the “Extra V” penny is a coin variety featuring a small, incuse (sunken) "V" to the right of the "VDB" designer initials on Abraham Lincoln's shoulder, likely from a modified die.

The exact number of these struck is not known, however they are scarce in Mint State condition, especially in higher grades with a Red color designation, like this MS65 example.
