Taiwan was the 7th country issue in the Global Edition of Coca-Cola’s silver bottle cap coins.
What makes the silver coins in the Global Edition so special is the shape. Each one looks as though it was just popped off the top of a bottle of Coca-Cola. The coins have the same sharp, alternating edges you would expect to find on an actual bottle cap and the same colorization in red and white.
For the obverse field of the 2020 6 Gram Fiji Coca-Cola Taiwan Bottle Cap Silver Coin, the mint features a replica image of a Coca-Cola bottle cap as distributed in Taiwan. The bottle cap coin has a red-and-white colorization on this side with the larger text in Chinese that spells out, when translated, “Coca-Cola.” You can also find the brand name in its traditional English script below this primary engraving.
On the reverse side of 2020 Fiji Coca-Cola Taiwan Bottle Cap Silver Coins is an image of the Fijian coat of arms. The national emblem boasts a quartered field that is separated by St. George’s cross. The quadrants include the symbols of sugarcane, coconut palm, and bananas as a nod to the agricultural industry of the islands, with a dove and olive branch in the third quadrant as an emblem of peace.
